You hear Devlin... You think Poop

Today class was cancelled!... Sort of.... Instead of having our morning lecture as usual, Ashley got us tickets to see a production of "Ourselves Alone," by Anne Devlin put on by the players at Trinity College.
Being the theater junkie I am I was really excited, especially to go back to Trinity's gorgeous campus. The problem was I just couldn't help but laugh every time someone said the name "Devlin."
All I could think of was the movie "Just Go with it," when they use the name Devlin as a way to refer to #2...Yes I'm aware this is silly but it did indeed happen so learning about Anne Devlin in history and then going to see a show written by her got a little tricky.
Darn you Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler.

Before that particular show, the Gaeity theater kids from IES were putting on a showcase (with pizza) so Jorie and I headed to that first. I didn't realize how much I missed pizza until I had it in my hands.
The showcase was great, the pizza was more than great.

Then it was time for theater round 2.
The show "Ourselves Alone," is a show about the struggles of 3 women during the troubles. The theater was small and we sat in the front row so a few of us almost got stepped/sat on a few times. But other than than it was a great show!

This weekend is our IES field trip to Galway! We have to meet at 7:30 a.m and I have yet to pack... this should be interesting. Wish me luck!

Until tomorrow...

Cheers,
   Becca :)
