TGIF. 1 week of classes down, 5 to go. I know it’s going to
fly by so I’ve got to enjoy every minute of it I can! That means this weekend
it’s time to travel! We stumbled upon Howth by word of mouth so we
figured we’d take our chances again and go where the locals tell us.
Because the week was so busy we didn’t have much time to
plan so we decided to wait until Saturday morning to leave. So Friday was our
planning day…. And by day I mean this took about 30 minutes.
Here’s the real kicker.
Jorie and Joe trusted me to book find and book our train
tickets, find and book our hostel, and figure out the bus route to the train
station.
Lets take a quick glance back to last Thursday when Becca
and Andrew trusted me to navigate through the pouring rain in a foreign city to
our apartment.
Did my lack of directionality stay in America? Am I good at
this kind of stuff here?... I guess we’ll find out….
And so to the best of my knowledge, I think…. I realllly
hope Jorie, Joe and I will be headed to….. drum roll please…. Wicklow!! Home to
the filming of a few scenes from the films.... Braveheart and P.S. I Love You... maybe you've heard of them?
We asked Joe if he would go a "P.S. I Love You" tour with us, visiting all the locations from where the movie was filmed.... He (sort of) politely declined.... So it looks like we'll be having to find something else to do in Wicklow.
** For the most part, the Irish hate P.S. I Love You. Something about Gerard Butler's accent...? I think I may have devised a solution...
Now that we've got that all cleared up.
While all of Ireland is taking my advice falling in love with the muted Gerard Butler I will be looking for him in Co. Wicklow.
Here I come Garard!
Until Tomorrow...
Cheers,
Becca :)
